Johnny Rotten caricature

When we grew up as carefree youngsters in the seventies, punk suddenly appeared, with Johnny Rotten as the striking frontman. His aggressive music with dark messages like "No future!" reached us from the London slums. It seemed to me that from then on there would only be punk, garbage and chaos.
In the end, punk didn't have such a lasting impact on our lives after all, thankfully not as overwhelming as it initially seemed to me.
